First impressions matter - as a performer, your head shot is likely to be the first image a casting director sees on your CV or on Spotlight. While a good head shot might not land you the role, a bad head shot won’t even get you to the casting.
Your head shot is an investment in your career - be it as an actor, dancer or vocalist.
This is the primary image you present to the professional world and it does count - you will be judged on that head shot. You want to be noticed, but for the right reasons (not because your head shot is simply bad … that’s the wrong sort of notice and it won’t help you).
We know this and we take the time to get the best from you. These aren't rushed 15 minute sessions (though if we get the shots in 15 minutes we'll be delighted!), so we take all the the time needed to ensure that you get what you want and need from your image.
We don’t aim to sell you loads of images - just two or three great ones - because why would you want to show anything other than a great image? We can do quantity and quality, but you just need a small selection very strong images (not just more of the same).
All our images get our expertise in post-processing - just to make you look your best (if you don’t look good, we don’t look good and we never deliver anything but our best from a session).
You are a performer - your business is your image and your image is your business … do you want that image to say “great” or “mediocre”? (we don’t do “mediocre”).
For something as important as your professional image we are not unaffordable. Our head shot sessions for actors and vocalists start from £80. For dancers, a portfolio session (including both a head shot and dance images) starts at £120. The question you have to ask yourself is can you afford not to have a good head shot?
We provide both colour and B&W copies of each purchased image and crops including the upright 10x8 required by Spotlight. Any colour digital image can of course be converted to B&W, but we think we do with a little more flare than simply pressing a button and getting steel grey skin tones so we'd rather handle that for you.
